Original Xbox Flashing Red and Orange light error | Tinker Mods
An A/V issue
This error might be a simple one for you. The original Xbox detects whether or not it has a good audio visual signal before booting. Check your A/V cable and make sure it is connected correctly. Look for damage on the cable as well, see if any pets have bitten into it, etc. If everything looks okay, go ahead and plan on replacing that A/V cable. Just because you can't see damage, doesn't mean it's working. If you replaced the A/V cable and still get the flashing red and orange light, then you have a more difficult problem. The port itself might be damaged. You could desolder the port and replace it with a working one. It could also be an issue on the video chip itself. At this stage buying a replacement motherboard like one of these. would be one of your only ways to fix the flashing red and orange light error.
