Getting supplies
Now that you have watched the video, you are probably wondering where you can get all of the supplies you need to add a window mod to your Xbox 360 console. Tinker Mods has you covered.
Dremel tool
The dremel tool is probably the biggest decider when trying to learn how to add a window mod to your Xbox 360 console. Most of us probably have hammers and screwdrivers or even cordless drills laying around the house. However the Dremel tool is still something most people would not have. This means you would need to purchase a Dremel tool and the needed attachments. For most people this is not practical. That is why Tinker Mods offers a pre-made Xbox 360 case with a window mod. IF you do want to buy a Dremel tool you can find them at most large hardware stores. Starter kits can run you anywhere between 40 and 100 dollars, and you may need to buy the table cutting attachment as well as a cutting bit. Plan on spending at least 50 dollars for everything you need, more than likely more.
Clear acrylic Sheet
The Acrylic sheet needed for the window, also known as plexi-glass, can be a bit of a hassle as well. These sheets are usually only sold in generic sizes, they come in different thicknesses, and they can also be clear or frosted. Cutting the Acrylic sheet can be frustrating to say the least. You can not use normal saws or blades because they can melt or crack the brittle material. But, as you can see in the tutorial, with a little help you can learn how to cut it perfectly!
