Xbox 360 BenQ drive disclaimers
First off, the Xbox 360 BenQ drive replacements are not considered a plug and play installation. The Xbox 360 motherboard has a unique key code or password that has to match the one inside your disc drive's PCB. For this reason, these Xbox 360 BenQ drives do not have a PCB, and you would need to remove the one from your old drive to install in this one. Additionally, to prevent any confusion, this model/brand is only compatible with the Xbox 360 fat (Or Phat) console. This will not fit an S or E model Xbox 360. These Xbox 360 BenQ drive replacements are designed to fit the first Xbox 360 console version ONLY. Last but not least, the BenQ drive requires soldering to install the PCB.
