How to bypass original Xbox parental controls
Something that comes up alot is dealing with the original Xbox parental controls and how to bypass them. This is luckily
a very simple process for the console compared to others and is easy to follow. So let's dig into it
How to bypass it step by step
First and foremost this has to be done on the stock dashboard of the original Xbox. If you had a modded console you either need to install a backup Microsoft dashboard or you have to manually change them in the NKpatcher settings if you are using Rocky5 softmod tool or the Rocky5 extras disc. Otherwise, follow these directions;
- While on the stock Microsoft Dashboard, pick the settings option.
- Scroll down and click the parental controls option
- You will get a prompt asking to enter the passcode, obviously if you know it enter it. Otherwise Press the following buttons; X, Y, LT (Left Trigger), X.
- You can now see the parental options, You can change the Passcode to something you want in case you watch to change this later
- You should change both the movie and game settings to max. In games, changing to RP (Ratings pending) will unlock all games, meaning you will never have an issue with parental control blocks. With Movies, The eigth option will open up all ratings and you will have no restrictions on your movies.
